And we thought cramming a full frame sensor into a tiny body was
impressive. As the world's first mirrorless digital medium format
camera, the Hasselblad X1D Camera
packs a 50 megapixel, 1.7 x 1.3-inch CMOS sensor in a shockingly thin
body that weighs less than half of a normal medium format rig. It has a
high-res screen, a 2.4 megapixel electronic viewfinder, and the expected
modern trifecta of HD video, Wi-Fi, and built-in GPS. With the new
design comes a new family of AF lenses developed specifically to work
with both the closer sensor and the smaller body while retaining flash
sync up to 1/2000th of a second and the optical quality the company is
known for. Handmade in Sweden.
