Leave it to a bunch of artists to create the first truly High Fidelity streaming service. Backed by such recognizable faces as Jay-Z, Kanye, Daft Punk, and Jack White, Tidal is an artist-owned, Spotify-like streaming service with a couple major differences. The first is the ability to stream 1,411 kbps lossless Flac files, a way higher quality than offered by its competitors. And the second is the price. Since only the $20/month "Tidal HiFi" plan includes the higher quality option, you'll be paying twice what you would for Spotify or its ilk.
