It doesn't have the biggest sensor or a wide range of lenses. But if you're looking for a compact, affordable way to get into 4K video recording, the Canon XC10 4K Camcorder could be just the ticket. At its heart is a one-inch 12-megapixel CMOS sensor with up to 12 stops of dynamic range, paired with a 10x Wide-Angle Zoom Lens with optical image stabilization and Digic DV5 signal processor. Other features include dedicated microphone and headphone jacks, a tilting LCD monitor, and dual-band Wi-Fi for remote operation and previewing. The result is great looking video, no elaborate equipment required.
