The biggest problem with smartphones is their tiny-ass keyboards. Their tiny-ass screens are a close second. Well, Palm is here to help. The new Palm Foleo ($500; Q3 2007) is a thin, laptop-like device designed to be a companion to your Treo. It connects via Bluetooth to your phone, allowing you to email, surf the web, and edit office documents with a 10-inch screen and full-size keyboard. The Foleo has built-in Wi-Fi, weighs only 2.5 pounds, and has a battery that lasts up to 5 hours.
